Health and Safety

Thank you for booking your stay with us and we hope you have a wonderful time and love the Noosa Hinterland as much as we do.

There are a few things we want you to know about our Farm stay so that you can enjoying staying with us and be safe.

Pinbarren Green Lodges Noosa is located in a natural bush and Farm setting, and has hazards such as tree roots, branches, uneven ground and other hazards such as falling Fruit, so due care must be taken. Please respect our trees and wildlife- we have planted over 4000 native trees to regenerate the property in conjunction with Noosa Landcare and Land for Wildlife.

There could be wild animals on our farm such as venomous snakes, spiders and lizards- please ensure your screen door is always closed so that they cannot get into your lodge. You do not want any uninvited guests waking you up at night! Please take care walking around areas with long grass and vegetation- wear appropriate clothes and footwear.  There is an emergency snake kit in your lodge.

There are also unsecured natural waterways and dams with submerged logs, so jumping and diving is prohibited. It is also your responsibility to supervise any children in your care, especially around water. Your firepit and the safety of others around is your responsibility. We do not recommend walking under or playing near the Bunya Trees as they have extremely large Nuts which can drop. We provide buoyancy aids for your use if you wish.

All Fire pits must be extinguished before going to bed. Please use water from the dam to dampen the fire. There is a bucket in the storage box next to your lodge.

Our Animals are all in their own paddocks and enclosures – please do not enter any area which has a closed gate for your own safety. Please do NOT feed the animals anything unless this is ok’d by the Owners. Different animals have different dietary requirements and sensitivities and feeding them the wrong food could prove fatal. Please take care when around the animals during your animal tour. The Goats have long horns and are very playful. Sarah and Simon will take you around the animal enclosures for a meet and greet and feeding time. Please take care around the fencing- barbed and stock wire for the fences.

There are swings located around the farm which our children and their friends play on – please feel free to enjoy these but ensure that your children are supervised and attended to at all times. There is uneven ground and falling branches in these locations. We accept no responsibility for any injury howsoever caused whilst using them.

Please ensure children are supervised at ALL times.

Cancellation Policy

• Within 30 days of arrival no refund is provided.
• 31 + days notice, a full refund will be provided, less the Administration Fee of $30

• No Shows will be charged at full amount.

Please contact your travel insurance provider to purchase adequate travel insurance to cover the cancellation fees due unforeseen circumstances such as medical, extreme weather conditions, travel related restrictions etc.

Checking In Terms

Check in time is 2pm and check out is 10 am.

Please unload your vehicle next to your lodge and then move it to the designated car park for the safety and comfort of other guests.

Float parking is provided and will be shown on arrival.

Any damage must be reported and fees may apply.

Peak / Off peak periods

PEAK  

Pinbarren Green Lodges Noosa have peak period rates during our busiest booking periods, these include:

• Queensland school holidays (Easter / April, June /July, Sept / October December/January)
• Public Holidays / Long Weekends (Australia Day / ANZAC Day / Queens Birthday / Boxing Day etc).
• For these times there is a minimum 3 night stay policy

OFF PEAK

Pinbarren Green Lodges Noosa have off peak special offers during our quieter booking periods, these include:

• Non school holiday periods, Sunday night to Thursday night inclusive (checking out Friday).
